The "New 52" run of Batman comics is what turned me into a comics fanatic. What Scott Snyder did starting with Batman#1 to the end of his run was nothing short of genius. His stories, along with with Greg Capullo's outstanding art, were some of the best Batman comics ever made. I started reading with just the general Batman knowledge most have and I was hooked. One day at work (corporate office) my boss made fun of me for reading a comic at work. I told him that I would have agreed with him (comics are dumb) but after reading this, no way. I challenged him to read one and see if he wasn't interested. He's been reading comics now since that day. In case you haven't noticed yet.... Highly recommend! 🤪

This takes on a more light-toned side of Batman comics, which is a strange direction from writer Scott Snyder. However, he makes it work wonderfully and the overall story and tone does not feel out of place at all with the rest of the series. This book makes The Riddler even cooler.

What a book!! I love it!! Though I don't like so many retcons and reboots of Batman's origin story!! I mean, I love this arc, but the way different writers change something in Batman's origin, it is kind of awkward. Anyways, I love this arc!! Thanks!!
