The Clayface story arc by Snyder and Capullo is really good. The storytelling is top notch. The art is amazing. But this volume is too heavy on back up stories by other writers/artists. Normally that wouldn't be bad, but if you are like me and reading this for Synder/Capullo then be advised that their work only comprises about half of the book.

This volume is a huge waste of time. Only a couple of Snyder/Capullo chapters, and jumps all over the timeline. Basically just a big commercial for Batman Eternal.

Unless you've read all the previous batman titles and other bat family stuff, you'll have a hard time understanding what's going on here. Every issue seems out of place. The only redemption from this book is Eric Border's character.
