"City of Owls" is a fantastic climax to the Court of Owls story. Only downside of this collection is that the main story only takes up the first half of the book. The rest is backup stories that are wholly unnecessary and derail the flow of the story if you plan on moving right into Volume 3.

Scott Snyder is an extremely gifted author, with the skill to capture your attention such as the likes of John Grisham, Snyder is literature genius, he has such an unprecedented amount of skill to take you in and out of the story with different back and side stories while keeping your attention at the same time, never a dull moment. And this is coming from someone who doesn't read Comics out of sheer boredom!!! Scott Snyder is the only author That I will go out of my way to read a book from. It's Always surprising that he doesn't write screen reviews or write his own Batman game I would definitely buy that as well.

I love the comic. My only issue is in the owl courts layer (the labrynth ) some of the pages are upside down. It makes it hard to read on a tablet
