This is one of my favourite series and when I heard Dixie was going to finally get her story I was excited to say the least and let me tell you this book was everything I expected and so much more. This is a book that will draw you in from the very first page and you won’t want to put it down until you have read the final words in this captivating emotional love story. Dixie Whiskey has grown up surrounded by strong men so it was going to take not only a strong man but also a very special man to win her heart and that’s where Jace Stone comes in. Jace is a man we would all love to have, he is strong, hot and very much the alpha male and that’s exactly what Dixie needs a man who will not only love and cherish her but a man who isn’t afraid of her family, the problem is that man doesn’t believe he is ready to settle down and Dixie won’t settle for second best... A feisty sassy heroine and a strong alpha hero make this an entertaining read but it’s the family loyalty and the friendships that have been formed over this series that take this well written book to the next level that being said I still believe this book can be read as a stand-alone but I’m sure once you get a taste for the Whiskey’s you will want to try them all. Looking forward to what’s next from this very talented author.

I have loved Dixie Whiskey ever since she was first introduced and have been anxiously awaiting her HEA ever since. She is such a strong female character and quite a spitfire, yet still so vulnerable in ways I never would have thought. Let me just say that Dixie and Jace's story was truly everything I hoped for and so much more! I do not think Melissa Foster could have found a more perfect match for Dixie than Jace Stone. It was definitely going to take a special man to go after this woman who has a family that is a force to be reckoned with. But then again, so is Jace. This is a wonderful story with the perfect blend of sweet, sassy, emotional, sensual and funny. I loved every single thing about it!!! And bonus that we get more of her brothers and their families. The Whiskeys have definitely catapulted themselves into my top five favorite book families.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would! I've loved the Whiskeys right from the beginning. True Blue captured my heart, and the Whiskeys held it close. I knew it would take someone special to hold on to Dixie, someone as strong as she, someone who held family in as much importance as she. And boy, this author had someone special waiting for Dixie! Dixie is the princess of the Dark Knights, and she is surrounded by over protective brothers. She has grown up having to be strong enough to stand her ground, and stand up to those same boys! She has watched her brothers fall in love, and wants that special connection that they have, but knows her own worth, knows that she deserves to wait for the one that will love her, be there for her. Jace is tough on the outside, all business, but he is soft on the inside. He's been hurt before, and has made his life all about work. He doesn't think he wants, or can have, roots. He lives a nomad's lifestyle, constantly traveling, moving from place to place, for his business empire. But Dixie touches something inside him, something in his soul. He just has to let go of that iron control long enough to realize that he, too, deserves that connection and love that Dixie is looking for. Jace and Dixie......their story was beautiful, but also heart wrenching. The anguish, heart ache, and misery these two went through to get to their HEA was powerful. I loved how strong Dixie was, despite the hurt she was dealing with. I love that she knew her worth, and held out for what she deserved. I love how Jace adored Dixie, even when he was convinced he didn't deserve her. These two had obstacles to overcome, and the author had surprises in store for us (!), but in the end, love and family is all that matters! I've enjoyed the Whiskeys, and their stories will always be among my favorites. I'm looking forward to seeing what this author comes up with next!
