This is the first book of Susan Stoker's that I'm reading, and I have to tell you - it's downright amazing. The story is filled with so much heart. I honestly enjoyed the way Fish embraced Bryn's quirks. I learned a little more about Asperger's Syndrome, too, and was glad for the tiny view into that world. I also liked the camaraderie between Fish & his friends. I can't wait to read more of their adventures! I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book, and I recommend it. You'll love it just as I did - I promise!

4.5 Stars I really enjoyed this installment of the Delta Force Heroes. Dane and Bryn couldn't have more perfect for one another. I loved how Bryn made Dane feel. He's still trying to move after what he went through overseas and he's struggling. Bryn had some quirks, but to me that makes her character so endearing. She's never met someone to accept her completely for herself until now. It's beautiful to watch Bryn and Dane booth blossom. The book packs a punch with the heat, heart, and suspense. I also liked build up for the next book.

Susan Stoker - Rescuing Bryn - (Delta Force Heroes Book 6) Our Delta Force guys saved Dane “Fish” Munroe’s life. In fact, “Truck” was able to save most of his arm when the team saved “Fish”. The problem was, Dane was the only member of his team that lived. That nightmare will not leave him anytime soon. The team helped Dane get back on his feet and through the terrible ordeal of physical therapy. In the end, Dan had a prosthetic from his elbow down, but he was the lucky one after all. Dane decided that he didn’t want to be near a lot of people, so he bought a cabin in the mountains of Idaho. And, this is where Dane met Bryn Hartwell. Bryn is “different”, quirky, funny and her social skills are low on any scale. The author has written a great Military Romance novel that is fresh and as always, a lesson to be learned. When Bryn puts herself in harm’s way, Fish calls in his brothers from Texas to get his ‘woman’ back. This is a great read and I encourage you to treat yourself to a great feel-good novel. Best Quote: Truck said: “…..I’ll reverse haunt your ass if you even think about dying on me. I’ll do seances and get out the Ouija board and call your spirit back to earth and harass you for the rest of eternity if you die. Got it?”
