Well that was a twist! We finally get the elusive Tex’s story and he didn’t disappoint. And the women, less Caroline, finally get to meet Tex in person. And there was a hound dog. So there was a lot of good things in this story to balance out the bad things happening. Melody caught herself a stalker and has been on the run since. Tex becomes worried when his on-line friend disappears, and of course, there is no hiding from Tex. They already have a relationship when they meet, and it is a short jump to a full blown love affair. He has the body issues here (she has some slight but easily overcome). They are fiercely protective of each other. The dog in fiercely protective of them. The stalker strikes but between all the protection, it is a close call, but our heroes prevail!

I've adored Tex throughout this series and was thrilled when he finally got his own story. It's fitting he is the last of the team to get his women and it's also fitting he found her online. I've adored this series even though I'm late finishing it. I was actually waiting for the audio versions to all be out so I could finish the series the way I started it listening to it. I'm glad this series has whispersync though as I couldn't just wait to finish by listening to it. I had to read the last few chapters. Another amazing read by this author and I look forward to reading many more great stories in the worlds she has created for us.

I do believe this is my favorite book of the series! Tex is the "protector" of the group of SEALs, always in the back ground but keeping an eye on everyone. This time around he's found his own woman that needs his help. Mel is on the run. She has no where to go and no one to turn to when Tex shows up on the scene. Together they try to piece out who is after her and why. Pretty much kept me guessing close to the end of the book and when you figure it out it's going to throw you for a loop! And even though I'm a cat person too, you're gonna LOVE Baby! I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review, but I also pre-ordered it after I read it. It's a keeper!
