A RULE OF QUEENS is Book #13 in the Bestselling series THE SORCERER'S RING, which begins with A QUEST OF HEROES (book #1)--a FREE download on Google Play!

In A RULE OF QUEENS, Gwendolyn leads the remains of her nation in exile, as they sail into the hostile harbors of the Empire. Taken in by Sandara’s people, they try to recover in hiding, to build a new home in the shadows of Volusia.

Thor, determined to rescue Guwayne, continues with his Legion brothers on his quest far across the sea, to the massive caves that herald the Land of the Spirits, encountering unthinkable monsters and exotic landscapes.

In the Southern Isles, Alistair sacrifices herself for Erec—and yet an unexpected twist might just save them both.

Darius risks it all to save the love of his life, Loti, even if he must face the Empire alone. But his conflict with the Empire, he will find, is just beginning. And Volusia continues her rise, after her assassination of Romulus, to consolidate her hold on the Empire and become the ruthless queen she was meant to be.

Will Gwen and her people survive? Will Guwayne be found? Will Alistair and Erec live? Will Darius rescue Loti? Will Thorgrin and his brothers survive?

With its sophisticated world-building and characterization, A RULE OF QUEENS is an epic tale of friends and lovers, of rivals and suitors, of knights and dragons, of intrigues and political machinations, of coming of age, of broken hearts, of deception, ambition and betrayal. It is a tale of honor and courage, of fate and destiny, of sorcery. It is a fantasy that brings us into a world we will never forget, and which will appeal to all ages and genders.

Book #14 in the series--AN OATH OF BROTHERS--is now also available!

This series is a poorly written money grab. Dont waste your time. Instead, deliberately infect yourself with chicken pox and then use the $100+ she wants you to spend on the online series to pay for cable for the week whe recuperating. It will be a better way to spend your time. Seriously. The writing is staid, repetetive and error ridden. If I have to read the phrases "filled with gratitude" or "looked at with new found respect" again, I am going to be sick. That is a week of my life lost.

The writer is a notch or two below the bell weather writers such a King, Ludlow, etc. While trying to produce tension in her plotline, I end up bored with redundancy and the ultimate and predictable storyline. Just ok...disappointing.

I sat down last night to read for about an hour before going to sleep. I started reading the latest sequel to the Sorcerer's Ring, "A Rule of Queens". Once again Morgan Rice's ability to weave a great story, had me hooked. It's a good thing that I'm retired. I didn't turn off the Kindle until I finished the last page. I have really enjoyed the first 13 books and look forward to the next book. I must be honest though, at my age I'm worried that I might die before some of my favorite series of books end. I have made a vow that if I die before George R.R. Martin finishes writing "A Game of Thrones", I will remain here as an angry ghost and haunt him severely. I might possibly have to add another author or two to my vow.
