Gavin and Harper met at a music festival They wound up having a one night stand. In the one night they hit it off. They had such a strong attraction. They never forget each other. By chance meeting months later they met up at a barnfire. They never knew they had mutual friends in common. Harper's friend spoke of her, however, Gavin always though her name was Parker. Harper returned a little damaged from California. Her show was cancelled and had bad relationships. She wasn't ready for a new relationship with Gavin. But oh boy did he win her over. This was another amazing story by Melissa Foster. I love how she incorporates characters from her other series. You will not be disappointed. Definitely a must read. Harper left Cape Cod for LA to attempt her hand at screenwriting but before heading out she went to a festival where she had her first and only one-night stand. Gavin always thought that Harper was an imaginary person that all of his friends made up until she actually appears at one of their bonfires on the beach. Gavin is stunned to find out that Harper is actually the woman he had the one-night stand with ten months ago that he has not been able to get out of his mind. Their connection is just as intense as it was at the festival but Harper is not ready for a relationship. After Gavin realizes that Harper had left him her number and wanted to see him again, he is determined to help her. Bayside Romance is the fifth book in the Bayside Summers series by Melissa Foster which can be read as a standalone or as part of the Bayside Summers series and is written in the third person point of view. The return to Bayside did not disappoint and it was great being able to catch up with the Bayside gang. I am looking forward to future Bayside Summers novels. I gave Bayside Romance 4 stars and is a recommended read.

I absolutely love everything about Harper and Gavin's journey to their HEA. This is such a beautiful love story! Melissa Foster has woven so many of her books characters together with friendship, family and coworker ties so that we as long time readers and fans are lucky to get to hear more about and visit with some of our favorite characters. Even though these are all stand alone books, it's so nice if you have read them all and can understand all the connections and see future couples forming before your eyes. I love that!! But this is Harper and Gavin's story and it is sweet, sexy, flirty, and totally wonderful!! They had a hot hook-up about a year ago and went their separate ways, and now they are finally reunited back on the Cape where he now lives and she is moving back to after some time in LA. This was quite a surprise for both of them but the absolute best of surprises. Both had felt the connection a year ago but circumstances kept them from finding each other again until now. They are electric together and have incredible chemistry in every way. Gavin is so swoony and I just adore everything about him. And Harper is amazing and the absolute perfect woman for him. In addition to all the other fantastic things about their relationship, I love that they are so supportive of each other in every way.
