This is my favourite entry in the Argeneau series by far to date! I laughed more in this than the others and didn’t think i would because I wasn’t a fan of Lucian from the previous novels but it’s great to see that change in him throughout the book. The only thing is I do wish there was a little more of a struggle during the end between Lucian, Leigh, Morgan, etc. I wish it had carried on for just a little bit longer and with us being there. Kinda felt like a character killed off screen kinda thing but that’s just my opinion and doesn’t hurt the book that much overall. Great read!

You know, I despised Lucian for a long time. I understood where he came from, always striving to protect his family and the rest of the immortals, but he certainly could be a jerk. However, this book painted him in a new light and showed us not everything is as it seems. Yet more beautifully crafted characters, a dastardly villain, and a heart pounding romance; Sands is truly a genius.

This book was what got me into reading. This was the first chapter book I read and I loved it so much I'm trying to collect them all! Best series ever! LOVE her writings ❤️
