Ratings and reviews

A good story, but not as good as some of Lynsay Sands other books. The whole story took place in one scenario, the golf course building. This single environment seems to have limited the amazing ability of this author to build a dynamic world in which her stories usually evolve. That being said, this book is still worth reading, along with all her other books in this series.

Lynsay Sands is a talented writer who has a way of writing the characters and stories so it feels like you are right alongside them as the action is taking place. After the Bite is no different and I loved meeting some of the immortals that Valerian worked with, but at some point there were just too many characters from previous books thrown in to the mix on this one. I also had figured out who the bad guy was very early on, but hadn't at all guessed the motivations.

Valerian finally gets his story. He’s just taking some time off from tracking a serial killer when out of no where there she is his life mate. Natalie owns a golf course where he’s been playing at night after she’s gone. She has an adorable little girl Mia.
