I have always enjoyed Lynsay Sands' take on vampires and her light fun approach. I'm a sucker for a romance that makes me laugh, always have been. This is a reread for me at the time of this review and I'm actually finding it interesting seeing how some of the things we know about Life Mates in the later books is either not known or not established here. It's curious to watch it evolve, which is something I couldn't quite appreciate on my first read through.

I first read this book years ago when a friend suggested it. It sets the scene wonderfully for the unique take on vampires Sands has. It weaves a beautiful web that just draws you in. There's action and romance and steamy sex to top it all off. Rereading it again only renewed the love I have for this series.

I am a big fan of Lynsay Sands the book she writes sorry the book you write are wonderful the stories are intriguing suspenseful interesting and very romantic and its own way thank you for being who you are and writing these books I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Lynsay Sands is the nationally bestselling author of the Argeneau/Rogue Hunter vampire series, as well as numerous historicals and anthologies.
