This is book 6 in the Light My Fire series and it features Alice and Jonah. Their attraction felt real. These two were kind of thrown together by his super sweet, matchmaking but dying of cancer, grandmother. She senses their attraction right away and wants to know he’s found THE ONE before she passes away. This is a sweet and sizzling HOT romance BUT there was not enough story line for the villain.

I love all the stories set in Willow Brook, Alaska. It seems to be a magical location where damaged souls find their other half. This story sees Alice, return home after years away, meet Jonah, whose Grandma lives next door, and find love. The story is witty, steamy and touching, there are sensitive topics broached but all of it is done with small town love and typical nosey relatives and friends.

I have enjoyed seeing Alice and Jonah meet and connect, they both had things from their pasts (and their present) that they were dealing with, but that didn't stop them from falling for each other. I liked the support from family and friends that was mixed well with the pain, loss, grief and trauma that this story showed. I felt a connection to them both and believed in their connection too. I am voluntarily leaving this review after receiving an ARC.
