About this ebook

A swoon-worthy romance from USA Today Bestselling Author J.H. Croix!

A hotshot firefighter & a heroine who favors overalls to lipstick battle wills in this frenemies to lovers romance.

Levi

Where there’s smoke there’s fire, and hate can always turn into love. Lucy hates me. She especially hates how much I want her. And holy smokes do I want her. But she can’t be bothered to even give me the time of day. I should give up the chase, but I can’t.

It’s more than a spark between us. It’s a bonfire. Fate rolls the dice and lands Lucy right where I want her. She needs my help, and I need her.

One taste, and I’m lost. I’ll do anything to make her mine.

Lucy

Levi drives me crazy, and not the good kind of crazy. He’s smoldering hot and so handsome, it’s downright dangerous.

A hotshot firefighter, he nearly sets me on fire whenever he’s around. Perhaps it’s an occupational hazard.

He teases me every chance he gets and tempts me to let down my guard. I definitely don’t need a man. But Levi’s more than a man. He’s a man on octane fuel—pure masculinity practically oozes from his pores.

One night of weakness, and I tumble into his fire. It’s more than desire. It’s how I feel when I’m with him—safe and protected. I never want to let go.

Keywords: Levi & Lucy's story is perfect for readers who love small town romance, hotshot firefighters, alpha heroes, smart sassy heroines, frenemies to lovers, hate to love, opposites attract, slow burn, emotional romance with a dash of angst, plenty of swoon, and a deeply protective hero.

*A full-length standalone romance.

Burn So Bad is a fantastic contemporary romance by J.H. Croix. Ms. Croix has delivered with a well-written book populated with a spectacular cast of characters. Levi is a hotshot firefighter and has a thing for Lucy. Lucy is trying to keep her distance. When a run of catastrophes cause Lucy to have to stay with Levi all bets are off. Levi and Lucy's story is packed with drama, humor, spice and suspense. I loved reading this book and look forward to my next book by J.H. Croix. Burn So Bad is book 3 of the Into the Fire Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

These stories are all beginning to sound the same. Only the characters have changed. Shame really cause they're good characters
