A tautly written and paced story of a driven officer's hunt to find an abducted 15yo while trying to cope with the grief associated with her own daughter's abduction five years previously. An absolutely riveting read that kept me up all night and cements Blake Pierce as one of my favourite author's of the serial killer thriller genre.

3.8-4.0, It was a decent read but it wasn't a strong mystery or page turner. The fact that the wrong name was used at points was highly frustrating 🤦🏽‍♀️ Like, nobody proofread? Overall, I wouldn't read again but I would recommend for a "might as well 🤷🏽‍♀️" type of read. plus at the end of the day, this lady wrote a book which takes a lot so props to her.

i like it bcause its spooky but i feel like they copied it and i feel like it needs more detail to books it seems a litle plaine i think it could have been way better and im only 11 and i know their wasent enough deatail i think that this book is bad or shall i say a lot more practice or help cause it has ligite no detail hen their could be a whole bunch
