Jessie Hunt and many other people would lose their jobs if they violated protocols with violent offenders like Ms Blake continues to write. The twists are often good but the killer is obvious long before it is to Jessie. Additionally, a severe peanut allergy like Jessie has which goes into anaphylaxis would be treated with an Epi Pen and not just an inhaler. Without Epinephrine, she wouldn't be able to inhale the medication. I do like Jessie Hunt because she seems caring, damaged and intelligent even if her

What a riveting tale. I didn't know I was holding my breath until I felt myself release it on the last page. It's captivating and you won't see the twist in the talent the end. We'll done Pierce. I can't wait for book number 3. Book 1 and 2 sure kept me awake

THE PERFECT WIFE: It was ok. I honestly only kept reading because I had free WIFI without data charges. The story unfolds quickly and I think the reader must be willing to piece things together so a more cohesive tale is revealed. in real life none of this silliness could happen without serious problems because of criminal behavior and actions. oversight demands far more policy and procedural measures. For me, it just wasn't a credible story line. Jess earns a masters degree based on 4 interviews with a savage serial killer? Yeah. No way. From my experience with working for 2+ years on my practicum, no one finishes their graduate degree so easily while managing to "catch" another killer. in this case her husband. A bit silly as stories go but easy to read if you don't expect miracles. Not going to read further into this series. Teen readers may enjoy it but adults might want to take a pass.
