About this app

When a family member or a friend has diabetes, you want to be supportive and stay close. You might want to know if their glucose levels go too high or too low, be able to quickly and easily access their insulin pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system information.

With the CareLink™ Connect app, now you can remotely see their glucose levels and insulin pump information wherever you are, so you can know how they are doing.

The CareLink™ Connect app helps you quickly accomplish these tasks:
Let you securely view glucose levels, graphs, and trends
Sends you high or low glucose levels notifications, so you can be informed and supportive
Shows you the status of the insulin pump system, for greater peace of mind

To remotely view pump system information, family members or friends need to install the CareLink™ Connect app on their compatible mobile device. Also, the person with diabetes needs a MiniMed™ 700-series insulin pump, the MiniMed™ Mobile app installed on a compatible mobile device, which then should be connected online to the CareLink™ software. To find a list of compatible devices, please visit medtronicdiabetes.com/app-check.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to receive real-time updates, the app needs to continuously receive data from the CareLink™ servers, and the insulin pump system needs to sync with the CareLink™ servers through the MiniMed™ Mobile app. The CareLink™ Connect app only works with the MiniMed™ 700-series insulin pump systems; it currently does not support other standalone CGM systems, MiniMed™ or Paradigm™ insulin pumps.

The CareLink™ Connect app is intended to provide a secondary display of insulin pump and CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) system data on a supported mobile device. CareLink™ Connect app is not intended to replace the real-time display of insulin pump or CGM data on the primary display device. All therapy decisions should be based on the primary display device.

CareLink™ Connect app is not intended to analyze or modify the insulin pump and CGM data that it receives. Nor is it intended to control any function of the insulin pump or CGM system to which it is connected. CareLink™ Connect app is not intended to receive information directly from the insulin pump or CGM system.

All Night Long Even though I've turned off all of the notifications except for lows, i get constant notifications that the phone is out of range of the pump. We have a phone curfew, and the phones plug in in the living room, out of range of the pump unfortunately, but, all night, my phone is going off even when i clear the alert, telling me it's out of range. I'm damn near about to delete the app again because it doesn't behave according to the settings

My husband and I have a Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, and only reason I switched to the 770G from the 670G was for the ability for both me and my husband to monitor using the app. I work Graveyard and my husband was looking forward to being able to see how I'm doing. I was not able to get the app to work. It just kept circling round and round, and wouldn't work. How very disappointing! I read some of the other reviews. I have T-Mobile and I just completed the update yesterday, so we'll see...

I can't use this app because it's incompatible with my Samsung S20 FE. There's no reason my phone shouldn't be able to handle this app as it's the newest of its kind, supports 5G, and it even has Bluetooth for communicating with my Minimed 770g pump. Expand your support, and hopefully I'll be able to give your app a better rating if it runs well. Update: Thanks, it works now.
