The app can be used to automatically send heart device information to your clinic – wherever you go. Cellular and Wi-Fi availability applies. Don't know what's up, but with my last phone (same, exact android model), I had no problem with the app. Loaded onto this phone and it disconnects all. the. time. Disconnects often happen two to three times a week. If I'm lucky, it only happens every two weeks or so. Not like I have a choice in the apps. Perhaps it's a stress test to see how my heart handles the frustration.

The app provides the user no data. That's a choice the app developer made and it is a poor choice. Especially for athletes, at least provide heart rate data as a function of time. The sensor could be interfaced with Strava to greatly assist the user in understanding heart rate vs. effort. EDIT UPDATE April 2024 - got a new phone, Samsung S24 - now app doesn't work at all. I get an error message, your device is not compatible with your phone. Ugh.

App is glitchy and freezes without warning. Only fix is to uhinstall and reinstall app, which is a major pain point. It also makes me think that the app cannot transmit data to my clinic, when needed. This app also is not set up intuitively. Why does one have to send transmissions to the clinic by going into the Messages tab? Why not have a "Send Transmissions" tab? Make it obvious. This is the entire point of having the app, after all.
