The path to hell is paved with good intentions... I found it interesting to read about how Simon became the bad guy we heard about in the Rae Kerrigan books. HOWEVER there was some seriously sloppy work in here, namely character names being different, and events happening different to how history was told in the Rae books. great concept but a little more attention to detail was definitely needed.

Well only If I knew I'd start by reading this book set before the next set when Rae is in the picture or is sent to Guilder, though I'm still looking for the next 3 books of this set, I can't wait to get through it again. I enjoyed it, I didn't expect to be that sympathetic towards Simon Kerrigan after I've red about how bad he had been with his daughter and family, at least I got to understand what led to all of that, and so I kinda forgave him for that. And for the next darkness he does after I won't be blaming for everything, at all. I like Simon, he's been experiencing exactly what his daughter have. I'm still enjoying the book, I just hope I won't be needing a therapy for being left hanging after ALL the books about C. O. K is over, I'm so into it. 🤗🤗📚

I ordered the second book and this is the exact thing as the previous, I want my money back, it's a waste. the first book is good but this one is the same thing.as.thw first book
