Be Prepared. There are werewolves in this story, and they are NOT friendly.

Sometimes, it feels like everything important has already happened, that the peace their parents fought so hard to bring them is just a strange limbo they can't break out of. They want adventure, they want to make memories of their own. When a pair of new kids show up at their school, it looks like they might finally have their chance.

It isn’t long before the twins open up to the mysterious new strangers. Sharing secrets they thought they’d never tell. Asking questions they never could have imagined.

When a party in the woods leads to near tragedy, they find themselves caught in the middle of a fight they never saw coming. Trapped between two sides and put to the ultimate test.

Will they choose their family? Or their future?

Rogue’s adventure may have come to an end, but the twins is just getting started…

It was well written in terms of grammatical and mechanical errors. It was interesting as well. However, I just did not like the way the story developed. I understand that the kids hadn’t had any real connections with anyone so they might latch on to the first people they have that with. However, it was way too dramatic and disappointing how easily they were willing to fight their own family for these people. They couldn’t tell that these people were part of the supernatural community (I assumed so from the beginning) and they doubted everything their family said while guarding the other people who they knew clearly lied, hurt, played, and drugged them to get information. The characters got upset for being treated like kids but showed how truly immature and inexperienced they were. Perhaps, it was partially their family’s fault for shielding them from the world so much that they couldn’t tell the difference between a friend or foe. Anyways, yeah not a big fan of the “love conquers all”, “hopeless romantic/ fool in love”, disregard-all-logic-and-sense-for-your-feelings arc. Won’t be reading any more books on these characters.

We don't see inside of Jamie's character as it's always told from Bex's point of view. But she's incredibly unlikable the way she looks down on EVERYONE outside of her family that is until Luca and his sister. Then the way they chose these strangers they never really knew over their family? Granted their family sucks with the way they isolate them. But still. Just meh. It sucks to see Rouge turn out this way.

W.J. May grew up in the fruit belt of Ontario. Crazy-happy childhood, she always has had a vivid imagination and loads of energy.

After her father passed away in 2009, from a six-year battle with cancer (which she still believes he won the fight against), she began to write again. A passion she'd loved for years, but realized life was too short to keep putting it off.

She is a writer of Young Adult, Fantasy Fiction and where ever else her little muses take her.
