The ending was rather anticlimactic. I was hoping for an awesome showdown where there were casualties. but I guess it was a good end to the series. it's kinda sad that the plot twist left Gabriel alone and unhappy even though Alicia was still in the picture. It's also kind of a wasted opportunity not exploring Simon's other power more and having Rae use it in an actual fight to beat her last adversary. Also judging by the new ending it seems like there should be another spin-off with the legacies of Kerrigan. Would be cool to see how they live up to their parents' reputation. More hybrids pairing up and powers colliding. I thought Simon's resurrection was gonna be an important key in learning more about history and how he became that man - giving his family some much-needed closure and giving himself a good name. It seemed like he had no place in the present which is why I understand his sacrifice. Although it could have happened differently. He could have bested Cromfield instead.

Naww such an ending for a wirlwind action packed series was good reading all rae's triumphs and battles losses love interests and making life long freinds n family in the process will be sad knowing theres not another of rae's adventures coming out...

I took me 2 weeks to finish all the books both from the chronicles and the sequel books and I have loved every second of it these have been by far the best books I have read plus these books would great as a tv series can not fault them 11/10 in my opinion.
