I like me some philosophy with my wizards and romance. I personally would read almost anything TG writes. It takes me away from my stressful life and makes me think about interesting ideas and I get inspired. I like to exercise a lot and I love how much the characters travel by foot and how they just pull through so much exhaustion. I also get the urge to build houses and make sculptures when I read these books. I Love the characters! This book was great.

With unforgettable characters, tons of action, and a great plot;this series a must have. (Description of series! Get Wizard's First Rule now!)

Very well written and as usual, as I got closer to the end the harder it was to put it down.

About the author

Terry Goodkind (1948-2020) is a #1 New York Times bestselling author. His books include the multi-volume epic fantasy Sword of Truth series -- beginning with Wizard’s First Rule, the basis for the television show Legend of the Seeker -- and related series Richard and Kahlan and The Nicci Chronicles.

Goodkind was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where he also attended art school. Alongside a career in wildlife art, he was also a cabinetmaker and a violin maker, and did restoration work on rare and exotic artifacts from around the world. In the 1990s he relocated to Nevada, where, when not writing novels, he was a racing-car enthusiast.
