I liked the ending a little cliche but was nice to have a happy ending for once and have most stories get closure. was a little disappointed that Du Chaillu and her people were never brought up again and Gratch and the other Gars. It was talked about this being a battle all life fighting for good would have to be a part of so many times but they never brought in the gars or blade masters again. was just my peace maybe it was just me who was disappointed by this. But other than that it was a great series a lot of ups and downs so thank you Terry.

I have always hated the ending to a series of books. The sword of truth has had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning to the very end. The ending of a series always leaves me with that empty feeling of wanting more but unable to have it. This is the first ending I have read that left me wanting for nothing else, a perfect ending to a perfect series. I look forward to reading the next series and to reading this one again.

One of the Best books I've ever read, I don't think I've ever been so absorbed into a book as much as this one. It really moved me and tied up the series with a perfect ending that actually left me satisfied.

About the author

Terry Goodkind (1948-2020) is a #1 New York Times bestselling author. His books include the multi-volume epic fantasy Sword of Truth series -- beginning with Wizard’s First Rule, the basis for the television show Legend of the Seeker -- and related series Richard and Kahlan and The Nicci Chronicles.

Goodkind was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where he also attended art school. Alongside a career in wildlife art, he was also a cabinetmaker and a violin maker, and did restoration work on rare and exotic artifacts from around the world. In the 1990s he relocated to Nevada, where, when not writing novels, he was a racing-car enthusiast.
