This isn't her ususl great writing. I felt the story was rushed and a lot of the little things missing. It was obvious right away who the next books pairs would be. And it wasn't as engaging as her others were. It was easy to put it down and walk away. There was no urgency to finish it to find out what happens. No in depth of thr characters like usual. I was not left waiting for the next one.

How could anyone who writes such drivel achieve the success that Roberts has. Unimaginative plotting, downright annoying characters, and verbose, overblown narrative are just the obvious issues with this book.

I think you can read a Roberts book without seeing who it was written by and still know it's hers. This story had everything... love, mystery, family, all the things that make her stories great. Can't wait to read the rest.
