Ratings and reviews

This was an entertaining read. I felt a little sorry for everything Johnny had going on but having Jillian enter his life when she did really helped him. Their journey was an emotional and heartfelt one. It was entertaining to see these two big personalities brought together in a small town setting. I laughed, teared up a bit and got a bit too hot. Overall, it was time very well spent. I highly recommend this read. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Jillian is a sassy firecracker designer who thinks she isn't a mother material but when she accidentally steps into Johnny and his new-found daughter's life, she goes all in and she helps them build a bond. Johnny makes a first impression as an arrogant rockstar but considering his situations, I think his behavior is understandable. I like that Jillian can put Johnny in his place and their bickering is very entertaining to read. But when they have a chance to get to know each other more, their bickerings are turned to be flirtations and it's kind of hot because their chemistry is off-the-charts. Their love story also has typical Melissa Foster's style combined... big families, lovely friends, and small town charm. I do enjoy reading this book and I can guarantee you that the book is well written and very enjoyable. But I read so many of Melissa Foster's books by now so this kind of plot is quite easily predictable for me... that is why I decide to give the book 4 stars.

This was a well-written, entertaining book. It grabbed my attention from the first page and never let up. It was steamy, fun and I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed this book and will be on the lookout for another book by this author.
