LOVED this book!!!! It has a unique spin on vampirism that I find interesting. The vampire side is referred to as a demon inside. Bhaltair & Meena are lovable characters with Meena's story being very interesting & different from anything I've ever read. Whitney & Aine's comic relief had me laughing hysterically. They are so funny! The only downside is the book is too short. I wanted to keep reading Bhal & Menna's story.

I was so thrilled to finally read Bhaltair's story. He's been mentioned in several other stories in the Immortal Ops series, so I couldn't wait to find out his story. He wasn't what I expected his character to be, which just made it that much better. What a great story this was!

I love the lore that Mandy Roth spins. This story while short supplied all the action a longer one might have provided, with a happy kick at the end. My love of action was not forgotten with the evil, danger, lust and a hunky vampire.
