Ratings and reviews

Ms. Roth has done it again! We finally get to see what is really going on wth Thor/Lance. This installment included even more supernaturals, with even more varied abilities. The story was enhanced by its New Orleans setting. The best part of this story was the ending. This ending left the door open for many paths this series can take. Great read!

A must read, because it's just that good! This is the best so far of all the Immortal Ops books! I loved Lances story and his mate was so spunky and funny, their interactions were awesome. As usual, this was really a great read, very well written. I would've given this one 10 stars had it been possible!

Have you been reading this amazing series by Mandy Roth? If you have then we finally get to hear Lance's story. YES! If you haven't read any of them then it is about time you did! Lance Toov once a fierce Immortal Soldier/Panther Shifter, was captured by Master Vampire Pierre Molyneux and became Thor. A Werepanther/Vampire Hybrid with no memory of his previous life. Thor is lost, not knowing who he really is just that he has to be more than he is now. He struggles to remember his life before waking up as Pierres slave. Emanaia Zaharie (Emi) helps the local priest, kind of a ghost busting gypsy. She has a special gift, she can see and communicate with the dearly departed. When she was 3 her parents were taken by fire. She now lives in New Orleans in an abandoned home haunted by a few colorful spirits, some good some angry but she is loved and protected by them all. Enter the Fang Gang or Crimson Sentinel Ops. Sent to New Orleans to check on some dark energy mojo. Thor is sent on a mission to the city as well by Pierre. Little does he know that the “thing” he is sent to destroy is the very thing he desperately needs, his mate! Emi senses dark energy, is it searching for her? While running from the darkness she runs right into Thor. The spirits around Thor tell her she needs to keep him close. Oh and also tells him his name isn't Thor but is indeed Lance. Now that Lance has found his true mate, there is nothing he won't do to protect her. Even at the cost of his own life. The problem is if he killed Pierre to protect Emi will he also die? Will his mate? This book reunites us with the loveable characters from previous Ops books. You don't need to read them all but I really think you should, you will love them all. The whole, funny, loveable, dysfunctional gang. The only problem I have with any of this series is that I read them all to fast. Once you start one, you just can't put them down. Mandy has a way of making you laugh, cry and yell but always fall in love with them all. AND I HONESTLY LOVED IT!
