About this ebook

Five dishonored soldiers.
Former Special Forces.
One last mission.
These are the men of Hard Ink.

Beckett Murda hates to dwell on the past. But his investigation into the ambush that killed half his Special Forces team and ended his Army career gives him little choice. Just when his team learns how powerful their enemies are, hard-ass Beckett encounters his biggest complication yet—a seductive, feisty Katherine Rixey.

A tough, stubborn prosecutor, Kat visits her brothers' Hard Ink Tattoo shop following a bad break-up—and finds herself staring down the barrel of a stranger's gun. Beckett is hard-bodied and sexy as hell, but he's also the most infuriating man ever. Worse, Kat's brothers are at war with the criminals her office is investigating. When Kat joins the fight, she lands straight in Beckett's sights . . . and in his arms. Not to mention their enemies' crosshairs. Now Beckett and Kat must set aside their differences to work together, because the only thing sweeter than justice is finding love and never letting go.

Well ive read all the series of hard ink, and I have to be honest with you, this storyline was the weakest and it seem that there was too much content in the storyline to wrap up this series. Deeply disappointed with the sexual scenes, rudely done, why change the style of the series just to get attention.

I am so sad to see the Hard Ink Series by Laura Kaye come to an end. I have loved every one of the Hard Ink stories and I feel like I am one of the team after reading them all. I love how different each love story has been with this series while following the common plot between them all. In Hard to Let Go, we get to read about Beckett and Kat. Their story is explosive. Their passion for one another as well as their short tempers makes for an interesting romance. It kept me turning pages, along with the team unraveling more information to get closer to solving the series-long mystery. If you have not read this series, you really need to read it in order, so I suggest you go back to the beginning and read Hard As it Gets. Hard to Let Go definitely made me squirm at the insanely hot intimate scenes but also had me in tears at a few heartbreaking scenes. The pacing is great, however there was a scene or two where I wanted to tell Beckett and Kat to keep their pants on and get on with what else is happening around them (they do enjoy their sexy time together). Beckett and Kat each had their own internal struggles that added another layer to this book. I was so happy for both of them when they finally trusted each other enough to let the other one in. As with all the other Hard Ink books I love being with the team and learning new information to help clear their names after their dishonorable discharge from the Army that also killed many teammates. Hard to Let Go is a fantastic romantic suspense that forces the reader to turn pages and holds you captive until the very end. I highly recommend you give it a read!
