4.25⭐ Lethal Edge the first book in Kaylea Cross's new Rifle Creek series was a genuinely enjoyable story. That although a little slow to start soon picked up the pace, and by the end it honestly had me on the edge of my seat. And with the perfect amount of mystery, romance and humour thanks to an eclectic group of characters, I was easily engaged throughout. And I'm really looking forward to what comes next. Would happily recommend.

This was a great read! A little slow in the beginning with some repetitive pages, but eventually picked up pace. I love that the female protagonist is Hispanic! It's so refreshing from all the twenty-something white girls 99% of books are about. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and had amazing characters. It's dark and suspenseful while keeping the romance in the forefront. Worth the read!

Lethal Edge is an awesome romantic suspense by Kaylea Cross. Ms. Cross has provided readers with a well-written book populated with an outstanding array of characters. Nina is an astrophysicist and scientist and is teaching at the University of Montana while living in Rifle Creek. Tate is a detective in Rifle Creek and not interested in a relationship. Tate and Nina's story is packed with drama, humor, spice, action and suspense. I enjoyed this book from cover to cover and look forward to my next book by Kaylea Cross. Lethal Edge is book 1 of the Rifle Creek Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
