About this ebook

An elite warrior struggling to find his place in the civilian world.

Weary from his years on the battlefield, SF Captain Beckett Hollister has returned home to Crimson Point to take over the family business for his dying father. But adjusting to life outside the military is harder than he imagined, and being back home forces him to confront things he’d rather not face. Including the one woman he shouldn’t want and can’t have—his best friend’s little sister.

A love that was always meant to be.

Town vet Sierra Buchanan has known Beckett her entire life. She’s crushed on him for years, but because of his relationship with her family, the stubborn man refuses to see her as more than the girl he grew up with. As tragedy brings them together, neither of them realizes that the sins of Beckett’s past have come home to haunt him. When Sierra becomes the target of his unforeseen enemy, Beckett must vanquish his demons to save her.

The Crimson Point stories have been sitting on my Kindle for what seems like forever. So whilst in a bit of a reading lull I decided to once again give Fractured Honor a try, and honestly I'm glad I did. As it was an enjoyable and engaging story. That packs a lot into its 290 pages and kicks off the series well. Although it was missing that big kick of suspense, that's normally so present in Ms Cross' stories. Yet, the range of characters, the setting and the romance more than made up for it. And I'm excited to read Noah's story next. Would recommend.

I’m an avid reader, always looking to discover a new author and series. My favourite genre is a mix of everything. Stories that have action/adventure, drama, comedy, romance and bow-wow-chicka-wow-wow 😉. And I have to say, this had it all and more. It truly gripped me, moved me! I never laughed so hard (love you Walter 😘) and then sobbed so quietly (that hospital scene gave me goosebumps and visceral memories of my own personal experiences with a few loved ones). It was the weaving storylines, the relatable characters (flaws and all) and the author’s beautiful way with words. So descriptive, so vivid. I was totally sucked in and felt like I was one of the Crimson Pointers living along side Beckett, Sierra, Ella, Walter and all the others. My only criticism, if I can call it that, is I guessed who the “villain” was right from the start but that might simply be because of my extensive reading which has allowed me to uncover these kinds of things early on. Otherwise, a great big WAY TO GO and high five ✋ to you Kaylea. Loved! Loved! Loved! I am now a fan for life!!

Having read all the books in the Susan Stokerverse I was looking for something to intrigue me. Enter Kaylea Cross and the Crimson Pointe crew. I loved every book in this series. The small town characters and scenery sucked me in and I'm really hoping there are more stories in the series to come.
