About this ebook

She brought him pizza. He delivered a family.

Police Officer Jack Stone hasn’t been able to leave the house in seven days. His wreck of a sister gave birth in prison, and baby Ella has been discharged into his care.

He has no idea what to do with her.

Louisa is ready to move on with her life and arrives at Jack's house with her very last pizza delivery before she quits. When he opens the door, Ella is crying, his place is a disaster, and Applebottom’s senior police officer is completely lost.

He could solve her problem, and she could solve his.

Too bad they’ve hated each other since high school.

It will take the entire town to end the twenty-year feud between Jack and Louisa and remind them that people do grow up, and in a crisis, you often grow together.

I wasn't convinced of the feelings between the two LIs at first, but I got pissed by the heroes denseness so clearly I was invested. The end had me giggling and smiling, so overall a nice read. If you're after a clean, sweet read this is fine. There's no sparks or sexual tension if that's your thing.

well written characters, a good story, somewhat believe-able , not that romantic but totally gives feel-good vibes. It was not that much interesting story, but author has made it really good and interesting with her writing. She gave every character a chance to get their mistakes sorted , and didn't make one fairly good heroine , and villainy relatives.

It was fine, I just wish there was more chemistry. I didn't feel the love that was supposed to be between them. It was a great story though, I just wish there was more romance. More passion so I can appreciate them as a couple. I mean when Jack broke up with her, he barely looked back, almost seemed like he didn't care or want her as much. Other than that it was a great plot.
