Ms. Casey really captures the true essence of the tragedy that befell a wonderful Texas teacher, her unborn child, and the families and friends affected by it. It is a cautionary tale about domestic violence, and the glorification of athletes on the field to the detriment of their character off the field. The lessons of infidelity within a marriage can also not be overstated, and the fact that it can have fatal consequences. The legal ramifications of this tangled web are still being played out in the courtroom long after the book went to press. Perhaps we will see a sequel to this captivating saga.

Very well written...couldn't put it down. This is the 3rd book I have read by Kathryn Casey and I have loved them all. Such a terrible crime.
