This is actually volume 2. I remember reading this series a few years ago and really dug it. It would be a lot better to start from the beginning though. If it were simply volume 2 with volume 1 accessible, it would be 4.5/5. Only being part 2, 2/5 as a lot was missed!

This volume and the successors are wonderful and the entire family enjoyed reading it more than once. Our physical copies have separated from the binding.
