It's a fresh start for the new modern generation readers. Now we have plenty of Superman versions, let's just say multiverses of him. Some are excellent, others not so good. But this one is alright, mostly love the plot from start to finish in one sitting. Way to go, DC! (^_^)d

I like the way things are going. I like the changes. I have seen writers trying to humiliate, turn him into an assassin, make him kill his loved ones or have them killed so that he would go mad. Well, There is one thing about superman that has been imprinted on us old fans since the beginning... He will never be a hearted cold killer like those new age heroes they try to sell to our new generation today. So, I respect writers who do not forget how important superman has been and always will be to us.

I just read all three volumes so far...at the cost of sleep and getting ready for work and etc... besides what the original creators put out that influenced almost if not everybody in the world...this character here...i say that the partnership that brought this series together has not only embodied the superman of the past but has also shaped the one for this present time and probably the future. These comics are inspirational to me...i eagerly await the next volume. Quality over quantity.

J. Michael Staczynski is a comic book writer, television writer and producer and has written over 200 produced episodes, including work on The New Twilight Zone, Nightmare Classics and Murder, She Wrote. He also wrote, created and produced the series Babylon 5, Crusade and Jeremiah. Moving from TV to film, he wrote Changeling (directed by Clint Eastwood), Ninja Assassin (produced by the Wachowskis), provided the story for Thor (directed by Kenneth Branagh)and wrote Underworld 4 (starring Kate Beckinsale). His comics work includes the #1 New York Times best-selling SUPERMAN: EARTH ONE original graphic novel series, as well as numerous other projects for DC Comics and Marvel.
