About this ebook

Swamp Thing. Zatanna. Frankenstein. Madame Xanadu. Deadman. Black Orchid. Vampire Andrew Bennett. Nightmare Nurse. Once they were the Justice League Dark, defending Earth against supernatural threats. Now they are nowhere-and nowhen. To stop a force of evil that threatened to destroy all life, they unleashed a power that consumed their colleague John Constantine and scattered them to the edges of existence. Now they are stranded in a strange netherworld where time itself comes to die. Here, moments can last millennia, lifetimes come and go in the blink of an eye, and hungry gods and mad sorcerers alike scour the spacetime continuum for every last scrap of power. To escape, every member of the League must journey deep within their own minds, confronting lost loves, different lives and paths untaken. Only then can they escape this eternal trap before time runs out... From the mind of comics legend J.M. DeMatteis and artists Andres Guinaldo and Tom Derenick comes JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK: LOST IN FOREVER, a mind-expanding journey to a place-and time-beyond imagining! Collects JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #35-40, JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK ANNUAL #2.

About the author

J.M. DeMatteis was a music critic but gave it up for becoming an award-winning writer best known for his personal works such as MOONSHADOW and BROOKLYN DREAMS. He began writing for DC in the late 1970s and rose to prominence with characters such as the JUSTICE LEAGUE revamp of the 1980s, a franchise that earned him an Eisner Award in 2004 for Best Humor Publication. He has written every major character at DC and Marvel, using that experience for a successful foray into animation writing including episodes of JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED and BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND BOLD.
