Jan Christian Chavez-Kortlang, this is not lies and more lies, and is not physiologically impossible to lose 20lbs of fat in a month. During the winter, I walk around 226lbs @ 5' 11". Three times in my life have I ever gone through a 1 month challenge to see who looses the most weight. In 30 days, I went from 226lbs to 202lbs. This included 1 hour gym work out 5x's per week (15 minutes intense cardio; 45 minutes weight training). My diet included vegetables, sweet potatoes, coffee, tea, muffins, very little fruits, and lean protein; and it worked for me every time. Yes, you do loose body and muscle mass, but the protein and weight training will help off-set the mass amounts of loss that can occur. I think you should actually try to loose 20lbs of weight in 1 month, rather that voicing your theoretical knowledge.

I was always hungry, especially trying to work a workout in between the restricted calories, which made me want to binge. But I did lose weight the first week. I did get good ideas on snacks that don't make me feel deprived. It is also a good base for people who are new to spacing out meals and snacks. I wasn't. Just not for me. I do think I'll still intersperse some of these meal plans into my plan just to mix things up.

I don't usually "diet" because I try and eat right since losing 30 lbs on my own by changing my eating habits and working out. But I wanted to take the challenge to see if it works and to drop these stubborn 10 lbs I have been trying to shed. I lost 21 lbs by following the book. I works but you must do it exactly as it says. Exercise and all.!
