This issue was fascinating. It pulls together all the pieces being dropped throughout the series, and ties them up in a way that will have the series go down in history as one of DC's epic crossovers. I loved seeing the perspective of Dr. M as he became the old town tree that stood unchanging as the town -or metaverse- changed and grew around him. Let alone how it's uniqueness, coupled with his hubris & curiosity became his inspiration to create the new 52 universe. Great stuff here, truly great stuff.
