Terrible. Any character development of any of the characters is stunted at best, devoid of any real thought at worst. Yikes. Unrelatable main character(s) who develop feelings like fruit flies. Too fast to feel any pay off. Mia reads like a self-insert, almost Mary Sue who makes wildly inappropriate decisions just to jump the plot, but it also jumps the shark along the way. Colt is also all over the place so cannot develop much connection or care for him either. Finished about 3/4 of it before I couldn't do it anymore. Better stuff on AO3 for free. Annoyed I paid a cent for this tripe.

Really enjoyed this book. This book is written differently as it’s only viewed from the h POV, but the romance is full and strong in true Emma Slate style! There is a lot of action going on and you don’t know what’s going to happen from one chapter to the next. I absolutely loved that we got a cameo from the Campbell family!

Had to force myself to finish. I love a good detailed story but this one just seemed dragged out for no reason. I don't think the characters developed.
