I really enjoy how Emma Slate weaves the characters from all her series together.

nice biker daddy and ok mommy but the plot and pace are a bit contrived, Slash shows up saying "One night could never be enough" out of the blue with no foundation, then Brooklyn gives in with zero resistance like a pricked balloon about him buying her a car? parts like that don't ring true and spoil what could have been a nice little romance.

I received an ARC copy of this book and was so excited to read it. Brooklyn and Slash have such great chemistry! Their relationship moves quickly but I loved how patient Slash was with her and that he wanted her to feel ready for their next steps. He is such a caring guy and that really comes out in the story. This is a light MC romance with not too much of a deep dive into the workings of the club. This can be read as a standalone but if you have read the other books in the series, there are plenty of moments with those characters. I loved how Brooklyn seamlessly fit with the MC members and their families. Overall, a fun read and I look forward to the next in the series!
