Ratings and reviews

What a shame. There's potential for an epic saga here, but I really don't understand why the author felt the need to keep repeating so many things. it's almost as if they needed to remind themself of the plot. I'm half way through and feel as if I've read the book 5 times already. Feels like 80% waffle and 20% riveting. Not sure I can continue but at least if I put it down and come back to it in a year, I'll be able to pick up where I left off no doubt.

This story needs to be condensed it is way too repetitive. The end leaves the reader hanging without the fate of the characters being revealed.

Though the names are changed to make this a fictional book, alot of this tale is a combination of Roman and Jewish history. the encircled sea is the Mediterranean.
