So much more than just a prequel! I was excited to hear that there would be a spin-off from the original Ending series and was not disappointed with the action and story that jumps right off the pages. Del and Fin are fantastic characters, each growing up in very different worlds, which is fantastically brought to life by the Lindsey team. Although it is a spin-off to the original Ending series, it is not the same type of story. This series is set 100s of years after the original series, there are references to the 'beginnings' but you don't necessarily need to have read the original series. Here, abilities have evolved and a new civilization and way of life has been established, a little rougher and more dangerous than the world before the apocalypse. This is a series that I am very excited and inpatient about!
