Ratings and reviews

it is very easy to predict what will happen, which spoils the story. Also, there's barely a timeline, it's just battle after battle after battle. After so many hits to the shoulders I don't know how anybody was able to keep fighting...

It was a good book well written but I must say that the final battle scene became a little tedious. These people were still walking around after every part of their bodies had been sliced into many times. The same descriptions were used over and over again. If it sounds like I didn't like it, you would be wrong. It was certainly worth the read. Unfortunately I won't be reading the next in the series.

A classic tale of impossible odds and galant heroes, of dragons and griffins, love and loss. I skimmed through the rather weak fight scenes after the first few but this trilogy and its companions held me till the end. Light reading.
