: 3.5 stars—ARCHENEMY is the first instalment in Christina Bauer’s adult ANGELBOUND XAVIER Egyptian gods and goddesses, fantasy trilogy, set in the author’s ANGELBOUND ORIGINS world. This is the story of lower angel/warrior/Archangel Xavier, and Purgatory’s quasi demon Camilla.The premise is engaging and entertaining but adolescent in presentation and story telling-this trilogy may be suited for a younger teen audience. The characters are magical; the romance is hidden by secrets.
