Seemed oddly paced and under-edited compared to the others. What happened to Solon? What was with that dragon stuff? What about the Chattel rebellion? Why did Lantano do a 180? Why did Momma K play such a small role (having previously been a major character)? Are the Sa'Kage done or what? Uh, what happened to Uly anyway? There was so much conveniently forgotten, it was like the last 100 pages were just pinched off in some formulaic fashion to get the series over with. A shame - it started so well.

The trilogy follows an interesting arc with the first book being very local, the second book being regional, and the final book being global (the whole world at stake). This is a fairly fast paced series that does a decent job of character development given the speed at which it moves (it's no plodding Robert Jordan novel). It's well written and not super predictable. I enjoyed it more than Weeks' second trilogy in the making (Lightbringer).

The Night Angels saga is a roller coaster ride for the ages. The story is wonderfully crafted in such a intricate way that you will find yourself lost in the author world for weeks. Besides the minor issues I have with some of the books pacing, the series is amazing and will be missed when I've finished the Saga.
