Ratings and reviews

This was a good short story - what else can you expect from Brandon Sanderson? - but it wasn't his best. While I was quite happy with how it ended, there wasn't that big reveal that we're so used to with Sanderson's books, I never sat there and thought 'wow'.

The idea was interesting but this was ultimately a story about one idea. Maybe an unfair criticism of a short story, so consider this a criticism of a $3 story. I feel like you could spend three times the amount and get a story that was nine times more satisfying.

This novel, though short, had me white knuckled throughout it's majority. The story is well thought out, with a unique setting and is an absolute must-read for everyone.
