Ratings and reviews

I enjoyed book very much but they lied about cost value. The book is 47 pages and thats counting aknowledgements and other pages naming other books. Notes say 87 pages. I would have probably purchased it anyways but dont like to be lied to. Length of entertainment does matter. I wouldnt pay 50 dollars for a video a game for instance if it had 15 minutes of gameplay.

I loved this. It captured all the essences of action, love, peril, tragedy, and masterful delivery that I've come to expect from Sanderson. I agree with others in that I would gladly have read another thousand pages, had they been written. An excellent read.

A bit too all over the place. There wasn't enough clear explanation of things. It's got great potential for a different direction as a concept piece, but this story itself I wasn't into that much.

Brandon Sanderson has published nine solo novels with Tor—Elantris, the Mistborn books, Warbreaker, The Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, and the young adult fantasy The Rithmatist—as well as four books in the middle-grade Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians series. He was chosen to complete Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series; the final book, A Memory of Light, was released in 2013. His novella The Emperor's Soul won the Hugo Award that year as well. His newest YA novel, Firefight, is a January 2015 release from Delacorte. Currently living in Utah with his wife and children, Brandon teaches creative writing at Brigham Young University.
