A great story and another cosmere... Always a good thing. I always feel his shorts should be longer but hey I'm just greedy. Not his best by a long shot but still good to get another shard story.

I am a great fan of Sanderson's work, and have been for a long time. Only problem I had with this was that it was too short. Maybe worth the $2.99 for it though, pretty great Novella.

Would Definitely recommend. I was so involved in reading this book that I did nothing else until I finished it. Nothing. Else...

About the author

Brandon Sanderson has published nine solo novels with Tor—Elantris, the Mistborn books, Warbreaker, The Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, and the young adult fantasy The Rithmatist—as well as four books in the middle-grade Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians series. He was chosen to complete Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series; the final book, A Memory of Light, was released in 2013. His novella The Emperor’s Soul won the Hugo Award that year as well. His newest YA novel, Firefight, is a January 2015 release from Delacorte. Currently living in Utah with his wife and children, Brandon teaches creative writing at Brigham Young University.
