Jessie Hunt is concussed, beaten, and broken, but she does not stop, she keeps on hunting the bad guys, and Hannah is following in her steps. This time the killer is aiming at women, in their own houses, strangling them, and not leaving a trace. Hannah has found a case of her own, a girl that everyone believes has been kidnapped and killed, is in fact, leaving home and trying to reach the place where she once was truly happy. The cases are solved as is the relationship between Jessie and Hannah.

I love the way Hannah is evolving, exploring her humanitarian ground, and finding and helping people. I'm glad she admitted that Jessie is her rock. Jessie, on the other hand, has a lot of health issues; I hope she gets well. Jamil got me worried too; that genius needs a lot of emotional support right now to overcome the guilt; plus, Operation Z still hasn't closed; plus, Jessie has someone new who has a fixation on her. I can't wait for the next in the series.
