Mia comes out of semi-retirement to help Ella with a new case. Ella feels like things are really different between her & Mia. Also, her boyfriend has an FBI closed file about him murdering his wife & he never told her about it. She's still working on her father's disappearance, too. Ella & Mia have a hopeful suspect as the serial killer, but do they have the right one? Ella has doubts! Can't wait to get the next in this series!

Ella and Mia are after a killer. Unfortunately, Ella Dark is in a dark place and no one can help her. Her behavior has included unethical and questionable actions. She has alienated everyone who cares for her. I don’t know what is next for her, but as she proved during this case, anything goes.
