I enjoy the books, but his lack of consistency from one book to the next become so annoying. in this book they didn't tell you what had finally happened with Findlay after he got shot, they act like Ramirez was there all along even though in the last book he had asked for a different partner, and there was absolutely no mention of Thompson who was her partner in the last book. Then there's also the question of Randall who she saw several times in the last book and yet in this book she gets in trouble for visiting him again it is very confusing with the lack of consistency from one book to the next.

I love Blake's writing style. However in this book the random introduction of a adoptive sister that had not been mentioned in the previous two books of the series, made me shake my head and question why. So unnecessary.

There were times I was wishing this was a film so I could cop an eye full of Ramirez - it's like a fifty shades book with police!!! Every aspect of the book was incredible!!!
