I am slowly warming to Avery Black. Whilst not the most likeable of main characters, this showed a more human side to her. I have percervered with this series as I have run out of all other Blake Pierce books. Looking forward to the final in the series as I feel this may be the best of them. Readable, good story line and edited well compared to some others.

Ended in a crappy way. Normally love these stories but this one was a bit of a stretch. What kind of a detective goes in alone with no back up. Whole plot was a mite unbelievable.

Blake Pierce has mesmerized me with this entire series!! I'm really looking forward to the next Book, which I cannot believe is only coming at the end of the year. The pace and the twists in the stories are all so uniquely gripping. To have a mind that can dream up such characters is to be diabolically genius. Avery is so real, so flawed and so human. Please let me know as soon as it's out!!
